Onions, garlic and potatoes
The price of Chinese garlic increased by 1.3 to 13.5 riyals per kilo, while onions (local and imported) stabilized at 3.4 riyals and 4.4 riyals, respectively, and the price of local medium potatoes remained at 3.9 riyals per kilo, unchanged from the previous month.
Legumes and canned goods
The price of lentils stabilized at 9.5 riyals per kilo, while fava beans (California Gardens 450 g) rose 2.4% to 4.8 riyals, and corn. Sweets rose to 6.3 riyals, an increase of 1%, while tomato sauce stabilized at 2 riyals for a 135 g package.
