Stability of gold prices and variation in the performance of other precious metals

Capitals, June 23 / WAM / Gold prices stabilized today, Tuesday.

Gold settled in spot transactions at $4,191.09 per ounce by 00:53 GMT, while US futures contracts for August delivery rose 0.2% to $4,208.40.

Regarding other precious metals, silver decreased in spot transactions by 0.4% to $64.92 per ounce, and platinum declined in the same proportion to $1672.90, while palladium rose 0.1% to $1266.35 per ounce.
