Launched King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for talent and creativity "Talent" Two external practical camps for district and Chemistry in the cities of Szeged and Budapest Chemistry International 2026.
19 male and female students nominated to represent the Kingdom participate in the two camps, which are implemented during the period from June 21 to July 3, 2026, 10 students in the biology camp in Szeged, and 9 students in the chemistry camp in Budapest, and they receive intensive training programs focusing on developing practical and laboratory skills, which represent an essential part of the evaluation of participants in the Olympiads.
80 practical training hours
Each camp includes 80 practical training hours distributed over 10 sessions, aiming to develop students’ abilities to carry out scientific and laboratory experiments, analyze results, and deal with applied challenges in accordance with standards approved in international competitions.
The camps allow students to engage in advanced practical experiences that simulate the nature of international Olympiad tests, which contributes to enhancing their understanding of scientific concepts and transforming theoretical knowledge into advanced applied skills, under the supervision of elite Of experts and specialists in the fields of biology and chemistry.
These camps are part of a series of specific training programs implemented by "talent" In partnership with the Ministry of Education, to prepare national scientific teams, and enable students to acquire advanced experiences and skills that enhance their readiness to compete in international forums.
Preparing 183 students
And it was "talent" The second phase of the intensive training program has been launched at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology "KAUST" In the city of Jeddah, at the beginning of this June, to prepare 183 male and female students and qualify them for the international scientific competitions for the year 2026, within the Mawhiba Program for the International Olympiads.
The Kingdom has achieved more than 1,054 international awards in the Olympiads and scientific competitions, ranging from gold, silver and bronze medals, in addition to certificates of appreciation and major and special prizes, in an achievement that reflects its advanced position globally in caring for the gifted.
