Abdullah bin Zayed discusses strategic relations with the British Foreign Minister

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from Yvette Cooper, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Secretary of the United Kingdom.

During the call, they discussed the established strategic relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in a way that serves their mutual interests.

The two sides also reviewed the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in various sectors that support development and sustainable prosperity for their people.

During the phone call, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of the strategic relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom, and the mutual keenness to invest all available opportunities to strengthen them in a way that brings more goodness and prosperity to the peoples of the two friendly countries.

His Highness and Yvette Cooper also discussed the overall situation in the region, regional developments, and ways to strengthen the efforts of the international community to consolidate the foundations of security and stability at the regional and international levels.
