University campuses are merely halls for teaching academic theories and graduating researchers for Job opportunities, but it has turned into a real factory for producing practical solutions to many economic and social challenges.
In this context, the outputs of the College of Business Administration stand out in Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, which presented an applied model that embodies the harmony of educational outcomes with the goals of developing national competencies.
The college took it upon itself to redirect the compass of graduation projects to serve as professional consultations that address realistic problems in multiple sectors.
This methodological step confirms that students have become practically and directly prepared to assume qualitative and leadership positions in the labor market, away from the traditional gap between education and And the profession.
The arrival of these projects on the exhibition platforms was not a coincidence, but rather the result of scientific screening processes and a strict evaluation of the outputs.
Information Systems and Business Analysis
Dean of the College of Business Administration for Scientific Research and Innovation and Head of the Risk Management Department at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, Dr. Latifa Al-Musfer, confirmed that the exhibition of graduation projects for students of the College of Business Administration reviewed 55 projects in the disciplines of information systems, business analysis, marketing, accounting, business administration, and risk management, and they were carefully selected from more than 450 projects, in which male and female students from five scientific departments and eight academic programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels participated.
Business burnout among doctors
While Bader Al-Babtain, a student majoring in human resources, reviewed his project, which won first place, as it dealt with job burnout among doctors and health practitioners, and addressed the most prominent solutions through a questionnaire and analysis of job burnout in this sector and talked about reducing stress at work.
For her part, student Mashael Al-Dosari said: Our project is a system for companies and sectors to adhere to the standards of the National Regulatory Authority for Environmental Compliance to help them The project is monitored and analyzed through one site, and the current analysis of your site is viewed through forecasting the project and reviewing its environmental condition.
Maysam Al-Shamrani referred to their project on the role of artificial intelligence in promoting sustainable tourism in the Kingdom and how it can affect tourists’ decisions to visit the Kingdom in sustainable destinations.
Stock Market Sectors
Master’s student Rahaf Al-Otaibi pointed out that the project deals with analyzing the impact of news on sectors of the Saudi stock market by studying the relationship between the nature of published news, whether positive or negative, and the performance of market sectors, as it focuses on understanding the relationship between news classification and stock movement, without assuming a direct impact on The market.
The results of the study showed that the impact of news is determined based on several key factors, most notably the type of sector, the timing of the news, and the strength of its impact. The results also showed that positive news is often associated with an increase in returns the next day, while negative news increases the probability of a stock decline during the next day.
The project relies on data analysis techniques, which contributes to providing a deeper understanding of the relationship between news and financial markets, and supports the development of tools that help in reading the market and making data-based investment decisions.
Healthcare Sector
The two students, Abeer Al-Zahrani and Saleha Al-Omari, referred to their research project entitled “The Impact of Crisis Management Readiness on the Effectiveness of the Regulatory Response in the Government Healthcare Sector in the Kingdom.” The study addresses the relationship between the level of crisis management readiness and the effectiveness of the organizations’ response, in government health institutions in the Kingdom.

The scientific addition of the study lies in developing an integrated framework that systematically links two main concepts: crisis management readiness and organizational response effectiveness.
The study aims to support decision makers and health sector leaders in enhancing readiness levels and developing response mechanisms, which contributes to raising the efficiency of dealing with crises and achieving a more effective and sustainable response.
