Delivering a commercial project worth 2.5 million dirhams to the winner of the Ras Al Khaimah Creativity Award

Ras Al Khaimah, June 30 / WAM / Citizen Mira Ibrahim Abdullah Jamali received her commercial project that won the “Ras Al Khaimah Creativity Award” in the food and beverage category, which is a fully equipped commercial store in Al Manar Mall, worth 2.5 million dirhams.

The project handover was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Musabah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arfa Saleh Al Falahi, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Benoy Kurian, CEO of Al Hamra Group, Lee Northmore, Chairman of the Jury and Vice President of Al Manar Mall, and a large crowd of the public.

The award, which was organized by the Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development, sponsored by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and hosted by Al Manar Mall as part of the Restaurant Village Festival, was the culmination of a competitive journey that began last year with the aim of discovering and empowering Emirati talent in the food and beverage sector, promoting innovation, highlighting national energies, and contributing to enriching the entrepreneurship system in the emirate, by transforming distinguished ideas into successful and sustainable business projects.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Directors confirmed that the award has achieved qualitative goals since its launch, as it attracted wide interest from citizens across the country, as its website registered about 4,555 visitors while 635 participants applied, before the best projects qualified according to precise professional standards supervised by specialized committees, leading to the selection of the winning project that embodied the highest levels of innovation and excellence.

He added that the success achieved by the award reflects the growing interest in the culture of entrepreneurship and creativity, and emphasizes the importance of initiatives that give owners of innovative ideas a real opportunity to move from the idea stage to the implementation stage, praising the efforts made by the work teams from the Chamber and the Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for the Development of Youth Projects, the evaluation and arbitration committees, and all the partners who contributed to the success of this qualitative initiative.

His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed that the winner’s submission of her business project does not represent the end of a competition, but rather the beginning of a new investment journey that embodies the vision of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in investing in people, empowering national competencies and transforming innovative ideas into economic projects capable of growth and sustainability, thus enhancing the emirate’s competitiveness and consolidating its position as a leading destination for investment, innovation and entrepreneurship.

He added that the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is moving steadily towards building a diversified economy based on knowledge and innovation by launching initiatives that provide creative people and entrepreneurs with an environment that supports success, stressing that the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber continues its role as a strategic partner in supporting these trends and strengthening partnerships with various national institutions, which contributes to the development of Emirati projects and the creation of promising economic opportunities for youth.

He pointed out that the true value of the award is not only represented in the value of the awarded project, but rather in the integrated system it provides that includes a distinguished commercial location, rent exemption for a period of up to three years, in addition to operational, marketing and administrative support, in a way that ensures the sustainability of the project and enhances its chances of success, and translates the emirate’s vision of building national projects capable of competing and achieving added value to the local economy.
