Furjan Dubai launches the third edition of the “Freej Refrigerator” campaign

The “Furjan Dubai” Foundation, with the support of the “Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” Foundation, and in cooperation with the Emirates Suqia Foundation and the Emirates Food Bank, launched the third edition of the humanitarian community campaign “Al Freej Refrigerator”, which seeks to distribute two million bottles of cold water, juices and ice cream to workers in Dubai, to reduce health risks resulting from high temperatures during the summer, such as drought and heat stress, and in a way that contributes to consolidating the values ​​of giving and compassion in Dubai society.

The humanitarian community campaign, which will continue until September 3, 2026, targets cleaning and construction workers, delivery drivers, and street and road agricultural workers in various areas of Dubai, in a way that embodies the deep-rooted culture of goodness in Emirati society, the values ​​of solidarity and solidarity among its members, and their great appreciation for everyone who does their duty to the fullest, in various circumstances.

The support provided by the Emirates Suqia Foundation and the Emirates Food Bank represents a major factor in achieving the noble humanitarian goals of the “Al Freej Refrigerator” campaign, and enabling it to reach the target segment in its workplaces, as the Emirates Suqia Foundation undertakes to provide large quantities of cold water bottles to distribute to workers, while the Emirates Food Bank supports the campaign by providing its modern warehouses to store water, juices and ice cream, and allocating refrigerated distribution vehicles in order to deliver them in a quick and safe manner to the workers at their sites. It supports the campaign through the participation of its volunteers in field distribution operations in various areas of Dubai.

He said: This campaign expresses responsibility and a deep feeling towards the segment of workers, who perform their duty honestly and sincerely amid high temperatures during the summer, and there is no doubt that concern for their health and safety is at the heart of the campaign’s objectives, which is in line with the vision of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” in the priority of caring for people, and mobilizing efforts to make various humanitarian community campaigns a success.

For her part, she said Director of Furjan Dubai Foundation Alia Al-Shamlan: The third edition of “Al Freej Refrigerator” comes as an extension of the successes recorded by the campaign over the past two years, as the campaign was able to achieve its goals with high efficiency through the support it received, and the integration of roles between “Furjan Dubai” and the campaign’s partners who played an essential role in its reaching workers in all areas of Dubai.

She added: Workers represent a major pillar in the prosperity and well-being of our society, and they deserve all our thanks and appreciation, and attention to their comfort and health, and we are confident that this campaign will continue its momentum based on what we witnessed during the past two editions, where the participating community members and institutions embodied the most wonderful images of giving and solidarity, and contributed their efforts in delivering cold water, juices and ice cream to thousands of workers in various areas of Dubai, in a way that reflects the values ​​of solidarity and compassion that characterize our society.

Furjan Dubai is implementing the third edition of the campaign by operating modern, refrigerated vehicles roaming various areas of Dubai to distribute water, juices and ice cream to workers, ensuring that they reach the largest possible number of them, and alleviating the effects of high temperatures during the summer.

The campaign partners play a pivotal role in the success of the campaign by providing the required resources and logistical support. The volunteers attracted by the campaign also contribute to achieving its goals, through their effective participation in the distribution processes and facilitating the access of the campaign materials to the target group.

The third edition of the “Al Freej Refrigerator” continues the successes recorded by the campaign over the past two years, as the campaign in its second edition distributed two million bottles of water, juices and ice cream to workers in various regions of the Emirate of Dubai.

The second edition, in the summer of 2025, witnessed widespread interaction from government agencies and private companies, as more than 15 parties participated in supporting its goals, through the participation of its officials and employees in distributing water and cold drinks to workers at their work sites, in addition to providing the requirements for its success.

The second edition of the campaign also attracted 250 volunteers from various segments of society who worked to cover dozens of vital sites on a daily basis, to ensure that water and cold drinks reached the workers.

In its first edition, which was organized in the summer of 2024, the campaign was able to distribute one million bottles of cold water, juices and ice cream to workers in Dubai.

It is noteworthy that Furjan Dubai is a social institution that seeks to empower local communities in residential neighborhoods in Dubai and enhance communication and trust between them and government and private institutions by stimulating the spirit of volunteerism and community contribution to create a community movement that improves the quality of life and enhances positive behaviors and values ​​in society.
