Without additional financial impact on the budget…transferring the cultural archive to the “Saudi Cultural Memory” Center
to transform the organizational unit in the Ministry of Culture called “” to a non-independent center named “”, with the aim of developing the work of preserving and documenting the national cultural heritage, in accordance with the organizational arrangements accompanying the decision.
The decision stipulated the transformation of the organizational unit contained in the structure and organizational guide of the Ministry of Culture, issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. “717” dated 8/24/1445 AH, into a non-independent center called the “Saudi Culture Memory Center”, provided that it operates in accordance with the approved organizational arrangements.

The decision included assigning the Ministry of Culture to take the necessary measures to include the center within its organizational structure, and to complete all necessary executive requirements to implement what was stated in the center’s organizational arrangements, in order to ensure that its tasks are carried out in accordance with the new regulatory framework.
The Council of Ministers confirmed that converting the “Cultural Archive” to the “Saudi Cultural Memory Center” will not result in any additional financial impact on the state’s general budget, and it also stressed that it will not request an increase in the financial ceilings approved to implement the decision.
