European stocks close higher

Capitals, July 4 / WAM / European stocks closed trading higher on Friday, affected by the release of relatively positive economic data in the euro zone.

The European STOXX 600 index rose by 0.68% to reach 652.78 points, while the German DAX index rose by 0.85% to reach 25,797.48 points.

The French CAC 40 index achieved gains of 0.39%, reaching the level of 8508.07 points. The British FTSE 100 index increased by 0.14 percent, recording 10,667.48 points.
