“Human Resources and Emiratisation” surveys the opinions of job seekers to develop “Nafis” services

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation launched a “Digital Consultation” aimed at surveying the opinions of young Emirati job seekers about the services and initiatives provided through the “Nafis” platform, as part of its efforts to enhance Emiratisation goals, raise the competitiveness of national competencies, and develop the experience of job seekers in line with the needs of the labor market and the aspirations of young Emirati cadres.

The Ministry invited three categories of young citizens, “job seekers,” “recent graduates,” and “those looking for training or professional development opportunities,” to participate in electronic counseling through its website and to express their opinions and suggestions, stressing that the results will contribute to developing the programs and services provided through the platform, and improving the job seeker’s journey, in a way that supports the provision of quality and sustainable job opportunities, and enhances citizens’ participation in the private sector in line with the state’s directions and future vision. She explained that launching the consultation comes out of its keenness to involve customers in developing government services, and to benefit from their suggestions as partners in designing future initiatives, thus contributing to the development of digital solutions in line with their aspirations.

The advice focuses on identifying the most prominent challenges that a job seeker faces while using the “Nafis” platform, whether in accessing appropriate job opportunities, or benefiting from training services and professional development programmes, in addition to identifying the most prominent obstacles that may affect the job search journey, in preparation for addressing them within future development plans.

Through advice, the Ministry seeks to monitor the new services and benefits that job seekers are looking to add to the “Nafes” platform, which contributes to improving the user experience, providing more flexible and efficient services, and enhancing the alignment between the qualifications of citizens and the needs of private sector institutions, as well as supporting the readiness of national competencies to join the labor market. The questionnaire included three main questions. The first addressed the most prominent challenges facing job seekers when using the “Nafes” platform, while the second addressed the new services or features that participants would like to add to improve the job search experience, and the third monitored the extent of satisfaction with current services.

The Ministry confirmed that the consultation outputs will be used as supporting data for the process of developing services and making future decisions, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s services, and develop digital systems and service delivery channels to become more easy, flexible and integrated, in addition to anticipating customers’ future needs and benefiting from their suggestions in creating new initiatives and services that support Emiratisation goals.
