“Qualevikar” faces the champions of the first category in the “Prix de Saint-Cloud”

The colt “Qualivecar”, owned by the global “Godolphin” team, under the supervision of trainers Andre and Valavinia Fabre, is looking forward to achieving his first victory in the first category “Group 1” races, when he seeks today to win the title of the “Prix de Saint-Cloud”, which is intended for horses aged four years and above, over a distance of 2400 meters on grass, which is held on the ancient French “Saint-Cloud” track.

In his new French mission, “Qualevicar” faces the challenge of seven of the elite middle-distance horses on the international scene, led by the colt “Kalandagan”, the highest-ranked colt in the world last season, with the “Aga Khan Stables” logo, and who, under the supervision of his coach Francis-Henri Gravard, succeeded in winning several titles from the first category “Group 1” races, most notably the “Japan Cup”, achieving a record for a distance of 2400 metres, in addition to the “Dubai Shaima” title. Classic” at the “Dubai World Cup” evening last March.

“Qualevicar” returns to the “Saint-Cloud” racecourse after achieving his first victories there in May 2025, when he won a race for novice horses, before adding two wins in the third category “Group 3” races through the “Prix La Force” and “Prix de Guiches” titles. He also came second by half a length in the Prix de Jockey Club, which was held in June 2025 at the French Chantilly track. His career also includes winning the title of the second category “Group 2” Prix Néil race, which was hosted by the “Longchamp” racecourse in the French capital, Paris, last September.

Louise Benard, from the Godolphin team in France, commented on Qualivicar’s recent preparations, saying in press statements: “Andre has always had great confidence in Qualivicar, and the horse deserves his place in a race of this level. We hope that the pace of the race will be appropriate, even though it is a very strong confrontation in light of the list of competitors.”

She added: “(Qualevicar) did not make many mistakes in his participation this year, and his level has certainly developed since his last participation in the (Grans Prix de Chantilly) race, and we would like to see him regain his best level during his last season when he was three years old, which will make him a strong competitor in a race of this rank.”
