The university explained that admission is done through competitive comparison electronically according to the weighted percentage, which is calculated at 30% for the General secondary school, 30% for the general aptitude test, and 40% for the achievement test, with a requirement to obtain valid grades in the National Center for Standardization tests, and programs are offered to applicants according to the type of high school certificate and academic track.
She indicated that graduates of the scientific tracks (general track, computer science and engineering track, and health and life track) can apply to the first year combined in the health and engineering tracks, in addition to direct bachelor’s programs and scientific diplomas, while graduates of the business administration track have the right to apply to the college Business Administration, Humanitarian Colleges, and Humanitarian Diplomas. Graduates of the Sharia track can also apply to all Humanitarian College programs and applied college diplomas.
Acceptance conditions
The university confirmed that one of the most important conditions for admission is that the applicant must be of Saudi nationality or have a Saudi mother or mother of Saudi children, and have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and the age not exceed 23 years for applicants to the first joint health year and health diplomas, and 25 years for the rest of the programs, and that it must not have been more than five years since obtaining high school, and the applicant must not be academically enrolled or dismissed from another university, or hold a university degree. A precedent, with the requirement for employees to devote themselves to study, and allocating seats for persons with disabilities and families of social security beneficiaries in accordance with the regulations governing this. The selection for admission seats this year is limited to high school graduates of the year 1448 AH.Program paths
The university indicated that admission includes four main tracks for the joint first year, which are: the health track, the engineering track at the College of Engineering, the engineering track at the College of Computer Science and Engineering, and the scientific track at the College of Computer Science and Engineering, in addition to direct admission to the colleges of business administration, science, arts and arts, education, Sharia and law, and the Applied College with its main headquarters and its branches in Al-Jadar, Al-Shamli and Samira.The health track includes programs Medicine, Dentistry, PharmD, Nursing, Midwifery, Diagnostic Radiology, Clinical Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Clinical Laboratory, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics and Information Management, and Occupational Health and Safety. The university explained that enrollment in these specializations takes place after passing the joint first year according to the criteria for allocation and absorptive capacity, with the prohibition of apology or withdrawal from the first year courses, and providing one additional semester when needed to complete the track requirements.
In the College of Engineering, the programs include renewable energy engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, civil engineering, chemical engineering, bachelor’s degrees in architecture, industrial engineering, and interior design engineering, while the College of Computer Science and Engineering includes programs in computer engineering, network and communications engineering, and software engineering, Information security, artificial intelligence, data science, and computer science, with a requirement to pass the first common year and obtain a cumulative GPA of no less than (2.5 out of 4) for specialization in specializations.
The university also announced direct admission to the College of Business Administration, which includes the specializations of management information systems, management, marketing, finance, and accounting, and to the College of Science with the specializations of applied chemistry, environmental science, actuarial science, and financial mathematics, and in the College of Arts and Arts with the specializations of tourism and event management, antiquities, and management. Heritage resources, fine arts, English language, cinema and theater, digital media, English language and translation, in addition to the College of Education, which includes programs in sports sciences and physical activity, early childhood, and psychology, and the College of Sharia and Law, which provides the Sharia program.
The university explained that the Applied College at its main headquarters offers programs for office applications and computer maintenance for people with hearing disabilities, communications and electronics engineering, control and automation engineering technology, and programming and science. Computer, information technology, warehouse and supply chain management, sales management, accounting, and human resources management, while the Al-Jadar, Al-Shamli, and Samira branches provide female students with a number of human resources programs, sales management, information technology, programming, and computer science according to the branch.
