"Sharjah Marine Sports" Participates in the 18th edition of the Maritime Festival in Morocco

Sharjah, 5 July / WAM / The Sharjah International Marine Sports Club is participating in the activities of the eighteenth session of the International Marine Festival, which is being held in the Kingdom of Morocco during the month of July, as part of the club’s plan to enhance its presence on the international sports scene and represent the United Arab Emirates in the best possible way.

The club delegation includes 22 members, including 18 players, in addition to the technical and administrative staff.

The club delegation will compete in three main marine sports: sailing, marine rescue, and rowing, after an intensive preparation period that lasted for weeks, focusing on enhancing physical fitness and developing the technical skills of the players.

Ahmed Issa Al Hosani, supervisor of the delegation, said that participation in this international event comes in line with the club’s general strategy, which aims to expand the scope of the external presence and open new horizons for the players to gain field experience through direct contact with elite athletes from countries around the world, which reflects positively on the development of their technical and mental level.

He added that the club attaches special importance to participating in international tournaments and festivals that prepare players and hone their abilities to compete at the highest continental and global levels, expressing his full confidence in the ability of the team players to present distinguished and honorable performances that reflect the high position that marine sports have now occupied in the Emirates.

It is noteworthy that the International Maritime Festival, in its eighteenth edition, is considered one of the most prominent annual maritime events in the region and brings together an elite group of clubs and specialized teams from several countries.
