Sharjah Police arrests an electronic fraud gang that exploited workers’ data to open bank accounts

The Sharjah Police General Command foiled a criminal scheme carried out by an electronic fraud network that included seven defendants of Asian nationalities, which relied on impersonating official characters and luring victims to download applications that allow remote control of their phones, and exploiting labor data to open bank accounts that were used to pass money obtained from electronic crimes.
