330 Emirati students embark on a journey of artificial intelligence and innovation in the summer program of the Emirates Science Club

Yesterday, the Emirates Science Club launched the activities of the 2026 Summer Program with the participation of 330 male and female students from the UAE, as part of an integrated scientific and applied program aimed at developing the skills of emerging generations in the fields of science, technology and innovation, and refining their abilities in the specializations of the future, in line with the country’s directions towards building an economy based on knowledge and innovation.
The program extends until the fourth of next August, two weeks for male students and two weeks for female students, and attracts participants from various emirates of the country, while providing transportation services to facilitate their enrollment in activities and training workshops, ensuring the greatest benefit during the summer vacation.
The program offers ten specialized scientific and applied workshops, including: artificial intelligence and data analysis, cybersecurity, robotics, electricity and electronics, 3D printing, general chemistry, sustainability, the “Small World” workshop, carpentry, and plastic arts, through a training curriculum based on learning by doing and practical experimentation, under the supervision of an elite group of experts and specialists.
The workshops focus on enabling students to design and implement innovative scientific and engineering projects, and gain practical experience in modern technologies, in addition to developing the skills of critical thinking, analysis, creativity, teamwork, and problem solving, in a way that enhances their readiness for future specializations and professions. The sustainability workshops also instill the concepts of resource conservation and environmental innovation, while the carpentry and plastic arts workshops develop craft and creative skills, achieving integration between science and artistic applications.
A rich educational environment
Bilal Al-Badour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Culture and Science Symposium, confirmed that the summer program reflects the Emirates Science Club’s commitment to providing a rich educational environment that invests the summer vacation in building students’ personalities and developing their scientific and practical capabilities, noting that such initiatives contribute to discovering talents, promoting creative thinking, and establishing a culture of innovation, in line with the UAE’s vision of preparing national cadres capable of leading the knowledge economy.
For his part, President of the Emirates Science Club, Issa Al Bastaki, explained that the program was designed to be an integrated platform that combines theoretical knowledge and practical application, and allows participants to learn about the latest technologies that lead the future of vital sectors, pointing out that the selection of the workshops was based on the needs of the future and the country’s priorities in the fields of advanced technology.
He added that this year the club paid special attention to developing the content of artificial intelligence, data analysis and cybersecurity workshops, based on the pivotal role that these disciplines play in supporting digital transformation, decision-making, enhancing productivity and innovation, as well as the importance of cybersecurity in protecting digital infrastructure and data and enhancing confidence in smart services.
He pointed out that the program not only introduces these specializations, but also gives participants the opportunity to engage in practical applications that simulate reality, which contributes to building analytical and creative thinking skills, and enhances their ability to deal with modern technologies, stressing that investing in preparing young people today represents a direct investment in the future of the UAE and its global leadership in the fields of science, technology and innovation.
