The White House Ballroom is bulletproof and parade-proof

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that the new banquet hall in the White House will be able to withstand almost any form of attack while maintaining its aesthetic appearance.

He said, “Glass windows that are so thick can withstand any form of bullets, guns, or drones. Nothing penetrates them.” “It’s bulletproof, it’s droneproof, it’s missileproof in many cases, and it’s beautiful at the same time,” Trump continued, adding that the steel and glass structure will also have a drone landing pad on the roof to help provide security.

Speaking during a White House event, Trump described the new hall, which has drawn criticism because of its size and the way it was built without consultation, as an important investment in national security.

Construction work began last fall on the site of the former East Wing of the White House. It is expected that the new hall will accommodate formal banquets much larger than those currently in place.

The project has been criticized for its cost, the permitting process, and the demolition of parts of the historic White House complex, and has been the subject of numerous legal challenges.

Referring to court cases, he said: “You are being sued because they think the concert hall is too big, the concert hall is too small.” “Especially if your name is Trump, you will be sued,” the president added.
