المملكة: The Attorney General and the Minister of Information discuss ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences
His Excellency received Chairman of the Public Prosecution Council, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Yousef, His Excellency Professor Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, at the Public Prosecution headquarters today; This is to explore ways to between the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Information, and developing the existing partnership between the two sides in relevant fields.
During the reception, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, most notably developing the media legal discourse, enhancing coordination in dealing with media issues in a way that contributes to preserving rights and adhering to regulations, in addition to exchanging experiences in the digital fields, and creating media content aimed at raising the level of awareness and reducing the spread of misleading information.
Protecting rights and promoting justice
His Excellency the Minister praised The media, including the roles played by the Public Prosecution in protecting rights, promoting justice, and preserving the public interest.
He stressed that the media system represents a supportive partner for judicial efforts, by highlighting its messages and initiatives with professional content, which contributes to raising the level of legal awareness in society.
Developing the media discourse
His Excellency the Attorney General noted the efforts of the Ministry of Information in developing the media discourse and enhancing its professional and digital presence, noting that this role supports Delivering reliable legal information and enhancing the culture of compliance with regulations.
This meeting comes within the framework of institutional coordination between the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Information, which contributes to supporting awareness messages and enhancing the presence of reliable legal information in the media space.
