Hearing explosions in Damascus
Explosions were heard in the Syrian capital, Damascus, today, coinciding with the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron.
A security source stated, “A group of explosive devices exploded near a hotel where Macron resides in Damascus.”
This comes in conjunction with the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron, who arrived in Damascus yesterday in an unprecedented visit, the first by a head of a major Western country to Syria since President Ahmed al-Sharaa took power in late 2024.
