Government approval grants “AQUA” the exclusive right to export green hydrogen and its derivatives
Aqua announced that government approval has been issued granting the company the exclusive right to export Saudi ArabiaTo take advantage of its competitive advantage in renewable energy resources and transform them into sustainable export revenues in the long term.
A global center for clean energy export
This approval supports the Kingdom’s strategic objectives aimed at consolidating its position as a leading global center for exporting clean energy, and accelerating the construction of a diversified, low-emission economy in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Under this approval, AQUA was also assigned Developing projects to produce electricity from renewable energy sources, and transmit and export it to European markets and Arab countries, thus contributing to enhancing regional energy security and enabling the Kingdom to export clean, highly competitive electricity to the targeted markets.
