Storms cause power outages to more than 373,000 homes and facilities in America

Severe weather conditions in several American states caused power outages to more than 373,000 homes and facilities, as of Monday, according to data from the “Power Outage.US” website.

Pennsylvania was the most affected state with more than 70,000 outages, followed by Michigan with about 64,000 customers without electricity.

First Energy recorded the largest number of outages among utility companies, with about 59.8 thousand homes and facilities affected, followed by DTE Energy with about 55.9 thousand customers.

DTE Energy announced that storm response teams are continuing their work to restore service, expecting to restore electricity to about 95% of affected customers by the end of the day.
