No travel without prior reservation.. Etihad Rail identifies 4 channels for booking tickets

Etihad Rail confirmed that all its flights require advance reservation, stressing the necessity of purchasing tickets before boarding the train, as passengers are not allowed to travel without a valid ticket.

The company warned, as part of the traveler’s charter, that tickets can be purchased up to 5 minutes before the train’s departure time, after which the sale of tickets for that trip will be closed.

The company has identified 4 official approved channels for purchasing tickets, which are: the Etihad Rail application, which is considered the fastest and most economical option, as it gives customers the widest price options with the feature of pre-selecting seats, the official website, via the link “etihadrail.ae”, the self-selling machines, which are available in all train stations, and through which prices are provided for immediate purchase only, and the unified call center, which operates daily to serve passengers from 5 am to 11 pm.

In the same context, the company indicated the possibility of the train supervisor helping passengers book tickets for their future trips, while they are on board current flights.
