The main Saudi stock market index rose, TASI, at the close of trading on Wednesday, rose slightly by 0.01% at 10,853 points, with trades amounting to 4.3 billion riyals.
According to the website "Saudi Arabia Trading"The amount of Sharescirculated about 228 million shares, with a market value of 9.4 trillion riyals.
Shares of 200 companies declined
Shares of 200 companies declined at the end of today’s trading, while only 62 rose, out of 270 companies listed on the main market.
The shares of the companies: Production, Development, Resources, Pipelines, and Flexible were the highest rising, while the shares of Tas’eel, Care, and Thimaar, Extra, and Wafra were the lowest.
Parallel Market
The parallel market index, Nomu, closed today, down by 0.3% at 22,594 points, with trades amounting to 13.4 million riyals.
The amount of shares traded amounted to about 2.5 million shares, while the market value reached about 29.5 billion riyals.
36 shares declined. By the end of today’s trading, 23 companies rose, out of 126 companies listed in the parallel market.
