Cement sales in Saudi Arabia rose 8.9% to 4.4 million tons in June

Cement sales volume increased in Saudi Arabiaduring the month of June, by 8.9% on an annual basis and by 5% on a monthly basis, to reach 4.39 million tons, which reflects a recovery from last month’s decline. According to a report on the Building materialsissued by "Al Rajhi Capital"Second-quarter sales volume remained generally stable year-on-year, with an increase of 3.1% on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Clinkerincreased 0.1% month-on-month to 44.8 million tons, and inventory levels rose in the central, eastern and western regions during the first half of the year, according to the report.
