Florida renames Palm Beach Airport after Donald Trump

Palm Beach International Airport in Florida was renamed Thursday after US President Donald Trump, in the latest step that reflects his desire to leave his mark on the public sphere.
Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis agreed in late March to name the airport after the US President, whose private residence, Mar-a-Lago, is located about three kilometers from it.
To celebrate this occasion, President Eric Trump’s son arrived at the airport shortly after five o’clock on Thursday morning in the family’s private plane, which was nicknamed “Trump Force One” after the name of the presidential plane. He shared a video clip from the cockpit on social media during its landing.
“I don’t think there is anyone who embodies Palm Beach better than Donald Trump,” Eric said in a statement to Fox News.
From the architecture of the White House to the banknotes, to the prominent buildings and landmarks in the American capital, Trump tirelessly seeks to leave his mark.
But his name was removed from the Kennedy Center exhibition hall in Washington by a recent judicial decision, after it appeared on it for a period of time next to the name of former President John F. Kennedy.
