"Emirates Cycling" He participates in the World Championships in Canada and the Asian Championships in Japan

Dubai, July 13 / WAM / The youth cycling team is participating in the World Road Cycling Championships, hosted by Canada during the period from September 13 to 29, and the UAE is represented by Saif Al Ghawi, Mohammed Al Alili, Sultan Al Hammadi, and Hareb Al Marzouqi.
The adult team is also preparing to participate in the Asian Games, which Japan will host from September 19 to October 4, with a delegation that includes about 12 male and female players in the men’s and women’s competitions.
The UAE Cycling Federation announced the hiring of Australian coach Ian Crick Melvin to lead the national teams, in preparation for the upcoming continental and international competitions.
Within the framework of the preparation program, the Federation continues to implement an external camp in Italy and Belgium during the period from July 6 to September 13, headed by Mohammed bin Shafi, Director of the National Teams, and includes an intensive technical and physical program, in addition to participation in a number of road and track races.
In its current phase, the camp includes riders Ahmed Al Mansouri, Saeed Habash, Abdulaziz Al Hajri, Mohammed Al Alili, and Saif Al Ghawi, with Mohammed Al Mutaiwee, Abdullah Al Hammadi, Hareb Al Marzouqi, and Sultan Al Hammadi joining in the next phase, to complete the preparation program until the next due date.
