Within activities "Fujairah summer".. Launching a program "Future media person" To prepare a generation that keeps pace with digital transformations


Fujairah, July 13 / WAM / The Fujairah Culture and Media Authority launched the “Future Media” summer program, as part of the activities of the “Fujairah Summer” program, which is held under the supervision of the office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
The program continues until July 24 in Fujairah Creative City, with the participation of an elite group of male and female students between the ages of 12 and 18, who were carefully selected from among 104 applicants.
His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Authority, confirmed that the summer programs receive the attention and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, because they represent educational and creative platforms that contribute to developing students’ skills, and investing their vacation time in quality programs that enhance their abilities and hone their talents.
Al Yamahi explained that the rapid transformations in digital media and modern technologies have imposed new concepts and tools in content creation, which requires preparing a media generation that possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to keep pace with these changes, pointing out the Authority’s keenness to provide specialized training programs to discover young media talents and refine them in accordance with the latest professional practices.
Over eight training days, the program includes an integrated package of media topics that include script writing, idea generation, storytelling, digital content creation, photography and lighting, montage and production, applications of artificial intelligence in media, in addition to media presentation skills, and concludes with the implementation of integrated media projects presented by the participants.
The program also includes practical applications and field visits to Fujairah Radio and Television studios, with the aim of providing participants with the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the media work environment, production and broadcasting mechanisms, and linking the theoretical aspect to practical application.
The launch of the program witnessed the presence of Fatima Yousef, Director of the Media Affairs Department at the Authority and General Supervisor of the Program, along with Mahmoud Al-Rubaie, Director of Fujairah FM Radio, and a number of officials and specialists in the media field.
