"Stand up" Its international presence expanded through a series of meetings with official and trade delegations
Ras Al Khaimah, July 14 / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones Authority (RAKZ) continues to expand its international presence.
Since the beginning of this year, RAKEZ has hosted more than 12 official and commercial delegations, coinciding with the growing global interest in the business environment in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
These meetings contributed to closely familiarizing diplomatic, governmental and commercial representatives with the investment scene in the emirate, the opportunities available in various sectors, and the integrated support system that RAKEZ provides to companies and investors.
The meetings included diplomatic, governmental and commercial delegations from Belarus, Ghana, India, Belgium, Latin American and Caribbean countries, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Italy, and formed an effective platform for conducting constructive dialogues, introducing the advantages of the local market, and enhancing direct communication with the business community in Ras Al Khaimah.
The delegations were briefed on Ras Al Khaimah’s position as a competitive center for companies looking to enter the UAE market and the region or expand their operations there. Discussions covered the supportive business environment in the emirate, the promising opportunities in its various sectors, the ease of establishing companies, and access to regional markets, in addition to the continuous support that “RAKZ” provides to companies operating in commercial, industrial, and service activities. Many of these meetings provided an opportunity to introduce new visitors to RAKZ for the first time, and give them a deeper understanding of its role in supporting the establishment of… Business growth and expansion.
The meetings provided an important space to introduce visitors to the comprehensive economic system in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, including entities and partners that support investment, business growth, and long-term establishment in the market. They represented an opportunity for concerned international parties to closely examine the emirate’s approach to consolidating its position as an attractive and cost-effective destination for investors, entrepreneurs, and companies aspiring to expand.
The discussions reflected a diversity of common interests, from exploring prospects for bilateral cooperation and coordination to visits by future trade delegations, and following up on the conditions of companies coming from these markets and already operating in the UAE.
Some meetings focused on flexibility, adaptability and long-term development priorities, giving visiting delegations a clearer view of Ras Al Khaimah’s approach to achieving sustainable economic growth.
The meeting that brought together RAKEZ officials with the Italian side contributed to building on the existing cooperation between RAKEZ and B-CAD, supporting ongoing efforts to encourage Italian companies and investors to explore promising opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah.
