The dollar continues to decline after abandoning the highest level in two weeks

Hong Kong, July 15 / WAM / The dollar continued its decline today, Wednesday, after falling from its highest level in two weeks.

The dollar fell 0.1% to 162.08 yen, while the euro and British pound rose 0.1% to trade at $1.1433 and $1.3401, respectively.

The New Zealand dollar recorded a strong performance at $0.5819, approaching its highest level in a month, while the Australian dollar stabilized at $0.6983.

The dollar index, which measures the currency’s performance against a basket of six currencies, fell slightly to 100.81, after falling 0.35% in the previous session, recording its largest decline in about two weeks.
