The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors elects a Chairman by acclamation
FUJAIRAH, 15 JULY / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry elected Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi as Chairman of the Council by acclamation for the 2026-2029 session, Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Mulla as Deputy, and Ahmed Hassan Al Yamahi as Treasurer by acclamation.
The names of the nine members of the Board of Directors who won the elected seats were announced: “Salem Obaid Rashid Al-Salami, Abdullah Muhammad Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Marwan Khamis Abdullah bin Al-Sheikh Al-Hashimi, Fatima Abdullah Muhammad Al-Watani Al Ali, Ali Muhammad Ali Khalfan Al-Kaabi, and Somaya Saif Saeed Al-Zeyoudi.”
Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors for the sixteenth session, extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for providing the opportunity for merchants to choose their representatives on the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry by election.
He also congratulated and blessed the success of this electoral process, and extended his thanks and appreciation to the voters and the business community for their active participation in the elections, wishing the candidates who were not successful in this round, success in the upcoming opportunities.
His Excellency Sultan Al-Hindassi, Director General of the Chamber, confirmed that the General Assembly meeting, which was held at the Chamber’s headquarters, witnessed a comprehensive review of the most prominent activities and achievements of the Chamber during the fifteenth session of the Board of Directors.
Al-Hindassi pointed to the mutual keenness to conclude economic agreements and intensify attendance at events, joint committees and international exhibitions with brotherly and friendly countries.
In the context of social responsibility, His Excellency revealed that the Chamber provided financial contributions amounting to 12,466,250 dirhams during the last session, which were directed to support civil society institutions, activities and events in the emirate.
The Director General of the Chamber praised the active and distinguished role played by the Supervisory Committee, headed by His Excellency Counselor Saeed Abdullah bin Amer Al Nuaimi, all members of the Supervisory Committee and the security team from the Fujairah Police General Command and the Digital Government Department, and to all participants who contributed to the success of the electoral process for the sixteenth session.
