Increasing demand for the National and Reserve Service Employment Fair
DUBAI, 16 JULY/WAM/ The National and Reserve Service Employment Fair, in its ninth session, continued to attract large numbers of recruits on its second day and provided more than 20,000 job opportunities and more than 12,000 educational opportunities through the participation of more than 55 entities from the government and private sectors and nine institutions of higher education, at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai, as part of efforts to support national competencies and enable them to chart their professional and academic paths after the end of national service.
Tariq Abdul Salam Al Madani, CEO of INDEX Innovations and Exhibitions Development Company, which organized the event in cooperation with the National and Reserve Service Authority, confirmed in statements to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the exhibition has become an important annual station that recruits wait for to plan for their future, whether by completing their university studies or joining the labor market, noting that the participating entities represent various governmental, private and military sectors, including the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces, Dubai Police and Abu Dhabi Police. And Ras Al Khaimah Police.
He explained that this year the exhibition provides more than 20,000 job opportunities in addition to more than 12,000 educational opportunities, giving recruits wide options that suit their ambitions and abilities, pointing out that the exhibition is witnessing an increasing interest from companies and institutions seeking to attract national competencies within the framework of supporting Emiratization goals.
He added that the growing demand for the exhibition reflects the awareness of recruits about the importance of early planning for their careers, and the keenness of employers to participate annually to reach qualified national competencies.
For her part, Shamma Al Shamsi, Head of the Employment Department at “Salt” Company, which specializes in recruitment, said that the company works to support citizens in various specializations, starting from new graduates all the way to leadership positions, with a special focus during the exhibition on qualifying new graduates and guiding them on the best ways to enter the labor market.
In turn, Iman Al Bastaki, Director of the Emiratisation and Government Relations Department at Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Company, confirmed that the group’s participation aims to provide job opportunities and training programs that contribute to preparing citizens for the labor market, noting the launch of three programs that include training during study, part-time work accompanied by training, and a program dedicated to graduates to join jobs directly.
The exhibition continues until July 17 to continue its role in strengthening the partnership between government and private agencies and educational institutions, and opening new horizons for recruits and graduates to build a sustainable professional future that contributes to supporting the development process and the national economy.
