Dubai Police arrests a driver who deliberately removed his vehicle’s license plates and drove at a speed exceeding 230 km/h

Dubai Police were able to arrest a driver who deliberately removed his vehicle’s plates, to circumvent the smart control systems, and drove it at a speed exceeding 230 km/h, in reckless behavior that not only threatens his safety, but also poses a direct danger to the lives of road users.

Dubai Police indicated through its account on the “X” platform that, in accordance with the provisions of Decree (30) of 2023, regarding vehicle impoundment, a fine of 50 thousand dirhams will be applied for releasing the vehicle impoundment.
