The President of the Republic of Peru receives the Ambassador of the UAE

The President-elect of the Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, received the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Peru, Ibrahim Al-Alawi, in her office in the capital, Lima.
Al Alawi conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the Presidential Office, and their congratulations to her on the occasion of her assuming the presidency of the Republic of Peru, and their wishes of success and success and the achievement of everything that the friendly people of Peru aspire to towards… Progress and prosperity.
For her part, the President of the Republic of Peru conveyed to the Ambassador her greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Office, and her wishes for the leadership, government, and people of the UAE for further progress and prosperity.
She stressed her country’s keenness to continue strengthening bilateral relations and pushing cooperation between the two countries to new horizons in areas of common interest, in order to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly countries and peoples.
For his part, the Ambassador praised the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Peru, and the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of diplomatic relations established on June 17, 1986.
Al-Alawi also touched on UAE investments in Peru, and the trade exchange between the two countries, which reached $2.5 billion in 2025, and discussed with the President of the Republic of Peru ways to enhance economic and trade relations and the possibilities of enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy, food security, and artificial intelligence.
