Two Chinese companies order 95 aircraft "Airbus" With a value of 17 billion dollars
BEIJING, 18 JULY / WAM / Two Chinese airlines announced on Friday that they have ordered the purchase of 95 Airbus aircraft, with a total value exceeding $17 billion.
The national carrier Air China stated in a document it submitted to the Shanghai Stock Exchange that it had concluded an agreement to purchase 55 Airbus aircraft for itself and its subsidiary, with a total value of $12.44 billion.
The document indicated that the Beijing-based airline will obtain 15 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, while its subsidiary Shenzhen Airlines will obtain 40 A320neo aircraft. Air China will receive the aircraft in batches between 2029 and 2032.
The Chinese company Hainan Airlines also announced that it had concluded an agreement to purchase 40 Airbus A320neo aircraft, worth $5.36 billion. It indicated in a separate document to the Shanghai Stock Exchange that the aircraft will be delivered between 2028 and 2032.
