King Abdullah Medical City launches the 14th edition of the KReSP Summer Research Program

King Abdullah Medical City, a member of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Cluster, launched the fourteenth edition of the Summer Research Program KReSP 2026, under the slogan “From Reviews to Clinical Trials,” as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance scientific research, build research capabilities, and establish a culture of innovation among students in health specialties.
An elite group of health majors students participate in the program, under the supervision and training of more than 10 researchers and experts in medical research, within an integrated scientific program that includes more than 30 workshops covering the various stages of scientific research, starting from formulating the research idea, through scientific reviews, designing studies, and ending with writing scientific manuscripts in accordance with international best practices.
The program aims to qualify a promising generation of researchers through an integrated applied research experience, enabling participants to develop their skills in preparing and implementing high-quality research, and producing scientific outputs that can be published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, thus contributing to supporting evidence-based health practice and enhancing the quality of health care.
The KReSP program is one of the leading research programs organized annually by King Abdullah Medical City. Over its previous editions, it has contributed to the graduation of many researchers and enabled them to participate in producing qualitative scientific research, which has strengthened the Medical City’s position as a leading academic and research center in the Kingdom.
