A 5.5 magnitude earthquake strikes western Iran

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center announced today that an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck western Iran.
The center explained that the earthquake occurred at 03:48:53 GMT, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
He pointed out that the epicenter of the earthquake was located about 20 kilometers south of the city of Javanrud, and 59 kilometers northwest of the city of Kahriz in western Iran.
