US stocks close higher as semiconductor companies rise


Key indicators in Wall Street rose on Tuesday, due to a sharp rise in the shares of Semiconductors, while investors are awaiting the results of major technology companies in search of indications about the future of the artificial intelligence sector.
Preliminary data indicate that the Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose at closing by 64.04 points, or 0.86%, to 7,507.32 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 321.53 points, or 1.26%, to 25,829.61 points.
While the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 384.46 points, or 0.74%, to 52,223.72 points.
