Mohammed bin Rashid Library concludes "We have fun in Arabic" With the participation of 130 children

Dubai, July 23 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library, in cooperation with the “We Talk Arabic” Center, concluded the activities of the “We Have Fun in Arabic” program, with the participation of 130 children of different nationalities as part of its summer program designated for children from 5 to 12 years old, with the aim of strengthening the emerging generations’ connection to the Arabic language and developing their language skills through interactive educational methods that combine learning and fun.
Non-Arabic speaking children participated in the program alongside Arab children who sought to develop their speaking and communication skills with confidence through interactive workshops, linguistic and motor games, storytelling and conversation exercises that relied on learning through play in a stimulating educational environment.
Dr. Mohammed Al Mazrouei, a member of the Board of Directors of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, confirmed that the program embodies the library’s keenness to consolidate the status of the Arabic language among emerging generations through innovative educational initiatives that enhance its use in daily life.
The program witnessed wide interaction from children and parents who praised the educational experience and the enjoyable environment it provided that contributed to developing language skills, enhancing self-confidence, and consolidating children’s connection to the Arabic language.
