Dubai Airports launches a service to pre-verify eligibility to use smart gates

Dubai Airports said that it has launched, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, the pre-verification service for eligibility to use smart gates, which gives travelers immediate confirmation of their eligibility to use smart gates before they arrive at the passport control area, making their movement within Dubai Airport easier and more streamlined.

Dubai Airports stated in its official account on the “X” platform that the pre-verification service for smart gate eligibility is available through the Pocket Flights platform or by scanning the QR codes spread throughout all airport buildings and gates.

She said that the improvements in services at Dubai International Airport are being designed with the aim of making the passengers’ journey through the airport smoother and easier.
