Al-Mohsen: The success of the first kidney transplant at the Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh

The General Supervisor of the General Administration of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior and the Security Forces Hospital Program, Dr. Saleh bin Zaid Al-Mohsen, confirmed that the success of the first kidney transplant at the Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh embodies the development of the medical services system and its readiness to provide specialized health services according to the highest standards, thanks to the support and interest it received from His Highness the Minister of the Interior.
This came during his visit to the first beneficiary of a kidney transplant at the Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh. And the donor, to check on their health condition, following the success of the operation, which is the first within the hospital’s kidney transplant program.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Mohsen listened to a briefing from the medical team about the stages of treatment and care, praising the efforts of the medical, surgical and nursing staff who contributed – thanks to God – to the success of the operation.
He explained that the success of the first kidney transplant represents a qualitative step within the efforts of the Ministry of Interior’s medical services in developing organ transplant programs and enhancing the quality of health care, which contributes to providing advanced treatment services to beneficiaries.
