Gold price today…the yellow metal rises in spot transactions by 0.9%

today, after oil prices fell to their lowest levels in a week.
And rose by (0.9%) to reach ($4,090.79) per ounce.
The price of gold today
While US gold futures contracts for August delivery rose by (0.5%) to reach ($4,093).
The dollar index decreased by 0.1 percent, which reduced the cost of gold denominated in the US currency to holders of other currencies.
By the time the London markets closed, the pound reached (1.3306) US dollars, down (0.14%).
While it declined against the European currency at (1.1696) euros, by (0.21%).
In energy markets, Brent crude futures fell by 8 percent to their lowest level in a week.
The price of silver, platinum and palladium
As for other precious metals, silver rose in spot transactions by (1.3%) to ($58.94) per ounce.
And platinum rose by (2.7%) to ($1631.42), while palladium jumped by (4.1%) to ($1294.75).
