The US Central Command (Centcom) wrote on the X application on Tuesday evening: "At 5:45 PM EST today, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched multiple ballistic missiles from Iran in an attempt to launch a surprise attack on US forces stationed in the Middle East. All of the Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted.".
