The Head of State discusses with the Prime Minister of Slovakia cooperation relations and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Robert Fico, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, discussed on Wednesday various aspects of cooperation and ways to develop it, especially in the economic and development fields, renewable energy, future technology, and other aspects that constitute development priorities and serve the common interests of the two countries.

During the meeting, His Highness and the Prime Minister of Slovakia affirmed their mutual keenness to continue joint work to strengthen bilateral relations and build extended development and economic partnerships based on cooperation and common interests of the two countries in a way that brings growth and prosperity to their peoples.

His Highness the President and Robert Fico also reviewed a number of regional and international topics and issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, most notably the developments of events taking place in the Middle East region… stressing in this context the importance of working to consolidate the causes of regional security and stability and pushing towards a comprehensive and sustainable peace in the interest of all the peoples and countries of the region.

The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying His Highness the President of the State during the visit, which includes His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and officials in the state. It was also attended by a number of ministers and officials in Slovakia.

His Highness the President left Slovakia at the end of a working visit, where he was seen off at the airport by Robert Fico, the Slovak Prime Minister, and a number of ministers and officials.
