European Commission: $4.83 billion for clean technology and electric vehicle batteries

 The European Union Commission has allocated $4.83 billion for clean technology and electric vehicle batteries.

The European Commission said – in a statement on Tuesday – that it has allocated $4.83 billion in funds to support net zero technologies, including manufacturing Electric vehicle battery cells.

 

For a period of five years until 2029, the Commission launches two new calls for proposals with a budget of 3.6 billion Dollars to accelerate the deployment of innovative decarbonisation technologies in Europe, including electric vehicle batteries.

 

The Commission is also planning a $1.26 billion budget to support and accelerate renewable hydrogen production through a second auction. For the European Hydrogen Bank.
