DUBAI, 5 December / WAM / The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences and the Arab Education Bureau for the Gulf States today, at the Museum of the Future in Dubai, signed a memorandum of understanding to launch the “Distinguished Educational Award” at the level of the Bureau’s member states, in the presence of a number of senior educational officials in countries. The Distinguished Educator Award will be a new standard for honoring competencies that have made outstanding contributions to the development of education, especially educators, as we constantly seek to enhance the professional growth of workers in the educational sector and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
The award targets a group of educational categories, including school principals and their assistants, supervisors of educational units, educational service providers, and specialists in special needs and learning resources. The value of the award is 50,000 UAE dirhams for each winner, in addition to a certificate of appreciation, an excellence cup, and an opportunity to join a specialized training program.
