The President of Senegal visits the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, 5 December / WAM / His Excellency Basserou Dumay Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Babacar Matar Ndiaye, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the UAE, and a number of senior officials. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center aims to introduce tolerant Islamic culture and enhance cultural communication between cultures and peoples around the world. They learned about the history of its founding. The grand edifice, the aesthetics of the mosque, and the marvelous arts of Islamic architecture that were clearly evident in all its corners, and the unique collections it contains, and the most wonderful arts and engineering designs that Islamic civilization has created throughout the ages, came together despite their differences and diversity in the design of the mosque, to reflect the beauty of the harmony and harmony of cultures in One creative work.
At the conclusion of the visit, the guest of the mosque was presented with a gift that reflects the mosque’s aesthetics, a compass whose design was inspired by its chandeliers, and a copy of the book “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: A Stream of Peace,” the center’s latest publication, which highlights the mosque’s unique architecture and takes readers on a pictorial journey.
