The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has followed the rapid developments in sisterly Syria, and the Kingdom expresses its satisfaction with the positive steps that have been taken to secure the safety of the brotherly Syrian people, stop bloodshed, and preserve the institutions and capabilities of the Syrian state.
While the Kingdom affirms its support for the brotherly Syrian people and their choices at this pivotal stage in Syria’s history, calling for concerted efforts to preserve the unity of Syria and the cohesion of its people, in a way that protects it – God willing – from sliding into chaos and division, the Kingdom affirms its support for everything that would achieve Syria’s security. Sisterhood and its stability in a way that preserves its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

The Kingdom also calls on the international community to stand by the brotherly Syrian people and cooperate with them in everything that serves Syria and achieves the aspirations of its people and not to interfere in its internal affairs, and to support Syria at this extremely important stage to help it overcome the scourges of what the brotherly Syrian people suffered over many years, in which hundreds were killed. Thousands of innocent people and millions were displaced and displaced, during which intrusive foreign militias invaded Syria to impose foreign agendas on the Syrian people.
The time has come for the brotherly Syrian people to enjoy the decent life they deserve, and for all its components to contribute to shaping a prosperous future dominated by security, stability and prosperity, and for it to return to its natural status and position in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
