Production in experimental reduction cells that operate with the new technology is expected to begin in the first half of 2025, while the company aims to use EX technology in the large-scale manufacturing process, including Fourth Industrial Revolution applications, by 2028.
The new EX technology aims to increase production capacity by up to 22% while reducing energy consumption and emissions. It was designed based on two different modes of operations, one to increase productivity and the other to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
