المملكة: Thursday… Riyadh hosts a global corporate governance gathering

Alfaisal University in Riyadh is organizing the Third International Conference on Corporate Governance under the title “Beyond Compliance: Reimagining Corporate Governance in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
This was in the presence of an elite group of academics, professionals, and local and international decision-makers, on December 12th.

The conference aims to discuss the challenges faced by corporate boards of directors, which worked to balance the protection of diverse stakeholders with the need to maximize shareholder value.
As well as the ethical, legal and operational implications of artificial intelligence in corporate governance.
In addition to creating a strong corporate governance framework to address traditional concerns and adapt to the evolving landscape of business practices that rely on artificial intelligence.

Professor Alex Edmans from London Business School and author of the book “Grow the Pie”, and Dr. Shawn Kao of the University of Maryland, director of the Artificial Intelligence Initiative for Capital Market Research.
Professor Colin Mayer from the University of Oxford, in addition to a large group of academics, lawyers, policy makers, and business leaders from the Kingdom and abroad.
