An exciting statement by the occupation Prime Minister regarding the Golan Heights

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Monday that the section of the Syrian Golan Heights occupied by his country and annexed will remain Israeli “forever.”
Netanyahu’s statements came during a press conference in Jerusalem, after the fall of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, yesterday, Sunday.

Annexation of the Golan

Netanyahu stated that he thanked US President-elect Donald Trump for his recognition of the process of annexing the Golan during his first term between 2017 and 2021.
Netanyahu said yesterday that the end of Bashar al-Assad’s rule in Syria creates an “opportunity” in addition to risks for Israel.

Historic day

Netanyahu explained that they were interested in establishing “good neighborly relations” with Syria, but also in light of its efforts to ensure that “no hostile force is allowed to settle near the border.”
During a visit to the Golan Heights, he said this “historic day” in the Middle East was “a direct result of our strong action.”
