Dubai, December 10 / WAM / The Dubai Charity Association launched the “Warm Their Winter with Your Giving” campaign to confront the dangers of the winter of 2024-2025 in many countries outside the country in Asia, Africa and Europe, in coordination with its representatives from the local authorities in these countries.
The campaign aims to provide basic needs for families, such as blankets, winter clothes, fuel, coal, heaters, water heaters, heating networks for mosques and poor homes, and other needs that contribute to protecting those affected from the repercussions of low temperatures and reducing the spread of winter diseases.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Dubai Charity Association, said that the “Their winter is warm with your giving” campaign comes from the association’s belief in the importance of solidarity in facing crises and our keenness to expand quantitatively and qualitatively in projects and programs directed to the most vulnerable groups and segments, in a way that reduces the burden on them, improves their quality of life, and contributes to devoting the approach Our country conducts various humanitarian campaigns to the countries most in need.
He explained that the association provided donors and charitable ambassadors with a smooth environment for donation mechanisms through an integrated package of innovative digital services on its website, such as donating encrypted digital currencies, acquiring non-fungible tokens (NFT), and providing a digital platform for donating using metaverse technology, as well as the Dubai Charity application on smart phones and the innovation of smart piggy banks. It is available in commercial centers, retail stores, gas stations, and other public places, or by credit card, or through the association’s bank accounts, in addition to contacting the call center.
